About the watch
The revival of Breguet began in 1970 when brothers Jacques and Pierre Chaumet took control with the aim of revitalizing the brand and renewing the connection between the Breguet name and high watchmaking. Shortly after, they decided to close the French factory and move production to the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, the heart of Swiss watchmaking.
To restore the brand to its former glory, Jacques and Pierre needed the help of a Master Watchmaker. They turned to Daniel Roth, who had demonstrated his talent during seven years of work at Audemars Piguet. Roth agreed to help revive the manufacture after delving into the study of Breguet's archives and techniques.
This particular model 3330 was created in the early 1990s and features a cream-colored dial with a day and date display in English. The design reflects the traditional Breguet style, with a guilloché dial and blue hands. The watch is powered by the caliber 502, based on Frederic Piguet's caliber 71.
Know your watch
This Breguet reference 3330 is an excellent modern example that retains many of the design characteristics developed during Daniel Roth's time at the manufacture. The cream-colored dial with hand-executed guilloché work lends it a charming appeal.
The watch is in excellent condition, with only slight signs of wear on the case.
It comes complete with the original box, warranty card and a replacement leather strap.
