About the watch

In 1970, a new chapter began for Breguet when the visionary brothers Jacques and Pierre Chaumet took control of the brand, with the ambition of restoring it to its former glory. To achieve this, they closed the factory in France and relocated production to the prestigious Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, the heart of high-end watchmaking. Determined to reestablish the connection between Breguet and watchmaking excellence, the Chaumet brothers enlisted the expertise of renowned Master Watchmaker Daniel Roth. Having already distinguished himself during seven years at Audemars Piguet, Roth accepted the challenge, delving deeply into Breguet's archives and techniques to revive the legendary manufacture. With passion and dedication, Breguet once again emerged as a shining symbol of timeless elegance and perfection.

Know your watch

If you're in search of a watch that epitomizes timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship, look no further than Breguet.. Founded in 1775 by Abraham Louis Breguet, one of the most legendary watchmakers in history, this iconic maison is renowned for its exquisite guilloché dials. Paired with impeccably crafted cases and luxurious leather straps, these dials transcend the passage of time, becoming true masterpieces of haute horlogerie.

This particular model, part of the Marine collection, seamlessly merges refinement with sportiness. It masterfully combines Breguet's rich watchmaking traditions with a contemporary, dynamic design, making it the ideal choice for those who value both style and functionality.

Dating from 2006, it features a 39mm stainless steel case with a polished bezel, elegant “officer” lugs, and a signed screw-down crown. The blue and white dial, adorned with a striking spiral guilloché pattern, showcases applied blued steel Roman numerals and the signature Breguet hands, while a date display sits just above the 6 o’clock mark.

The watch comes with a textured navy blue rubber strap, as well as an additional black strap, both equipped with a signed stainless steel folding clasp. Powered by the Breguet Calibre 517GG automatic movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, this piece reflects the brand’s commitment to technical excellence.

With its refined design and extraordinary versatility, this Breguet Marine is a standout addition to any collection, effortlessly combining durability with timeless elegance.
