About the watch

Breitling, an illustrious name in the annals of watchmaking history, traces its origins back to 1884 when it was founded by Léon Breitling. From its inception, the brand has been synonymous with the world of aeronautics, crafting timepieces renowned for their precision and reliability. Today, Breitling remains at the forefront of horological innovation, boasting a portfolio of exceptional watches, many of which feature in-house movements.

With a legacy rooted in aviation, Breitling began producing wrist chronographs as early as the 1930s. By 1936, it had earned the prestigious designation of official supplier to the military forces of the United Kingdom and Canada. While the Navitimer and Chronomat lines stand as iconic symbols of the brand's heritage, Breitling has also created numerous other notable chronograph models over the years.

The 1970s ushered in a period of upheaval for the Swiss watch industry, marked by the Quartz Crisis, which posed significant challenges for traditional watchmakers. In 1978, Breitling faced its own set of difficulties, compounded by the illness of its leader, Willy Breitling, and a sharp decline in sales affecting the entire sector. Consequently, the Breitling family relinquished their shares, and from 1979 to 2017, the brand's legacy continued under the ownership of the Schneider family.

This Breitling Bentley chronograph pays homage to the iconic design language of the Navitimer while infusing it with a distinct contemporary flair. Boasting a robust 49mm stainless steel case, crowned with sapphire crystal, it commands attention with its captivating "forest green" dial adorned with steel indices.

Equipped with a triple-register chronograph layout, complemented by a date window at 4:30 and various telemetric and tachymetric scales, this timepiece is powered by an impressive in-house automatic movement, ensuring precision and reliability.

Accentuating its elegance, the watch is paired with a luxurious green crocodile leather strap, secured with the original deployant clasp, evoking the sophistication of luxury automotive design. Presented in excellent condition, it is accompanied by its original box and warranty card, making it a coveted addition to any discerning collector's ensemble.
