About the watch

The Omega Seamaster 300 line was launched in 1957 as a response to the Rolex Submariner. Characterized by robust stainless steel cases and water resistance up to 300 meters, these watches were also employed by the Royal Navy. Considered one of the most elegant designs of the last century, the Seamaster 300 featured rotating bezels with dive time scales and metal bracelets with expandable links for divers.

Over the years, the Omega Seamaster 300 has undergone several evolutionary changes, with a wide range of variations in materials and colors. This diversity has made the Seamaster Professional line preferred by many collectors over Rolex. The unique appearance of the dials, hands, and cases of Omega Seamasters is one of their distinctive features.

A particular specimen, the Seamaster 120 'Recife' Reference 396.0987, dates back to 1985 and features a 39mm stainless steel case, an integrated bracelet, a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a matte black dial with Tritium indices. Powered by the Omega Caliber 1430 quartz movement with a date at 3 o'clock, this watch is perfect for everyday wear and will be appreciated by those who recognize its value.

The Omega Seamaster 300 offers a fascinating combination of heritage and neo-vintage style, making it an excellent choice for watch enthusiasts.
