A jewel of watchmaking history: the Zenith El Primero A783, an exclusive model produced around 1971, one of the most iconic creations of the legendary Swiss brand. Its robust brushed steel case with polished edges measures 38 mm by 45 mm, offering a perfect balance between elegance and sportiness.

The striking dial, with its overlapping subdials, immediately catches the eye with its bold design, typical of the 70s. It is protected by a slightly curved mineral glass, framed by a refined 14-facet polished steel bezel, a testament to the craftsmanship and precision.

Inside beats the renowned El Primero 3019 movement, one of the world’s first automatic chronographs, renowned for its reliability and precision. The original screw-down crown, personalized with the prestigious Zenith logo, adds an authentic touch and underlines the attention to detail of this watch.

The steel caseback, also screwed, features a large engraved star at its centre, Zenith's distinctive emblem, with references and serial numbers engraved along the edge. The watch was originally water-resistant to 100 metres, designed to withstand the elements.

The original steel bracelet, while not contemporary to the model, is rare and attractive, known as the “Lobster,” with ZR end pieces marked MZ—an exceptional find for the most discerning collectors.

Produced in just 1,500 pieces, the Zenith El Primero A783 is a rare and fascinating piece. It is part of a family of limited edition variations, including the Zenith A781, with a bold red dial, produced in 1,000 pieces, and the Zenith A782, with a turquoise dial, produced in 2,000 pieces.

A unique opportunity to own a unique chapter in Zenith's watchmaking tradition, destined to become the jewel in the crown of your collection.
